• This carpet will fit 1981-1987 GMC Standard Cab Truck, 4 Wheel Drive Automatic. Door sills are required to cover sides as the original did.
• Carpet will be made with standard flexible polyethylene backing. Contact us to upgrade to Massbacking
• Unless specified, the jute padding will be attached in the foot area of the carpet
• Installation may require trimming around the edges and the holes may need to be cut
• There is a large variety of colors available. Please request free samples if you are unsure of the color

PLEASE READ - Instructions may vary for multi-piece sets

1. Unbox: Remove carpet from the box. Lay it flat, pop the formed contours back into place, and allow it to sit for a few hours. Verify the material and color are correct
2. Compare: Lay your old carpet next to the new one to verify
3. Template: You may use the old carpet as a template for console and bolt hole cuts
4. Alignment: Fold the new carpet in half from front to back. Place it in the vehicle, aligning the contours or another fixed factory starting points
5. Roll and Cut: Roll the carpet forward, making cuts for brackets, shifters, and vents while ensuring the carpet remains aligned with your starting point
6. Firewall Fit: If needed, make a center cut at the firewall to allow the carpet to slide underneath the dashboard
7. Work Outward: Repeat this alignment process, working your way from the center out toward the edges
8. Final Trim: Once you are satisfied with the dry fit, perform your final trimming along the outer edges, seat belt mounts, and remaining holes
9. Pro Tip: If you choose to use an adhesive, apply a light brush-on or spray adhesive after a dry fit has been done
