If you see there is a milky grey color in the sight glass or if the oil plug pops out, this most likely means one or more of the diaphragms have ruptured. Do not run the pump and replace the diaphragms immediately because running the pump with torn diaphragms can cause serious damage to the pump. If your pump is in constant use, it is recommended to replace diaphragms every 3 months or 500 hours and replace valves every 6 months or 1000 hours.
