Simple, budget friendly kit allows you to change from 6 lug to 5 on 5" on '65-'69 Compatible with Chevy 1/2 ton truck rear axles Perfect way to match the front if you changed to a 5 lug pattern on the front of your truck, keeping all the wheel bolt patterns the same Axles measure 30-3/4" from the end of the shaft to the outside face of the axle flange and are 30-spline, will fit stock bearings and seals Includes new '71-'72 Compatible with Chevy truck drums and uses the existing brake hardware, fits 10 and 12 bolt axles only, new 12 bolt cover seal included Wheel studs are 1/2"20 thread pitch, new lug nuts may be required, sold separately If you've upgraded your trucks front end to late model 5 -lug on 5" truck bolt circle disc brakes, now is the time to upgrade your rear end. Fits Compatible with Chevrolet 5" truck. With the availability of 5-lug trailing arm rear ends quickly drying up, we now offer 5-lug axles that will install into your 6-lug rear end. Our axles come pre-drilled with a 5-lug on 5" truck bolt circle and fit 1965-69 rear ends. The axles accept 1971-72 truck drums and use the existing brake hardware. Available as a complete kit with axles, wheel studs and new brake drums or the use of the spider gear set. Will not work with 1960-62 trucks. Axles measure 30-3/4" from the end of the shaft to the outside face of the axle flange and are 30-spline. Note: Factory 6-lug applications had 7/16" diameter studs and 5 on 5-lug kits have 1/2" diameter studs.
