The machine is mainly used to process deep holes on workpiece of various conductive materials, stainless steel, hardened steel, hard alloy, copper and aluminum. Such as wire-cutting holes for wire-cutting workpieces; chemical fiber spinneret holes; group holes on filter plate and sieve plate; cooling holes on engine blades or engine block; oil or gas passage holes on hydraulic or pneumatic valve body, etc.

A strong permanent magnet base is mounted on the bottom of the spindle head and it can attach on the workpiece. It can be processed directly from the slope or curved surface of the workpiece. The depth diameter ratio of the machined hole is up to 300:1.

The machine can also be used to remove broken dril bit, tap, reamer, etc. without damaging the original hole or thread of the workpiece.

Hole machining with positional accuracy is achieved by using the tooling device from other equipment.
