Our Bradford Pedestal Table Base is a round pedestal base made from solid hardwood but the bottom plate is made from MDF wood except the Unfinished one is entirely made of Solid Hardwood. It is the perfect pedestal for an elegant to transitional style table design. It comes in three different heights - 29" (Dining), 32" (Counter) and 37" (Bar). This pedestal comes with a mounting plate, a bottom base and four bun feet. Some Assembly required; instructions are provided. It comes in two boxes. Table top mounting hardware not included.
The largest recommended table top sizes:

Square Table Top – 48" x 48"
Rectangle Table Top – 30" x 54"
Round Table Top – 55"Diameter.
The recommended max table top weight is 300lbs-330lbs. Anything larger or heavier, may require a second pedestal or consult professional contractors.

Our pedestal is designed for a wooden table top and would also definitely work with a round glass top, but you will need to do a few modifications to it. You first attach a thin piece of wood, plain or decorative that you can get from Home Depot, Lowes or wood stores, to the top of our mounting plate to cover the holes before proceeding to the next step. Then, you use a transparent glue that can adhere the glass top to the pedestal. You can find this in your local Home Depot, Lowes or other hardware stores.
