It will help save you much time! But please notice that it is NOT SUITABLE for log, large hard wood or green wood (not dried yet). [Durable] Our softwood splitter drill bits use Carbon steel with heat treatment and Titanium coating. The heat treatment increases the thread strength and ensures that the product is not easily deformed. The titanium coating not only makes the product less prone to rust, but also increases the surface hardness which makes the drill bit more wear-resistant. [Unique welded shank design] NO need to assemble and NEVER worry about loosing. The shank is welded to the bit so they stay together when reversing. And the integrated structure makes the product life longer and not easy to break. [Best Application]: Use a POWERFUL IMPACT driver with a side handle and set LOW speed. Corded drills work better. Battery powered drills normally don't have enough power or you would need to use smaller split woods. [Tips]: Put a foot or use other ways to keep the wood in place to avoid spinning, use one hand to hold the side handle of the drill, the other hand holds the drill and sets at low speed. Take only a small bit at a time. Start very near the edge. DO NOT drill this into the center. Be Cautious for the reversing torque. This is a great little tool.
