Amsteel Blue 1/8in (3mm) Single Braid Rope is a high-performing, 12-strand braid made of 100% Dyneema fiber. With a superior strength-to-weight ratio and very low stretch, it outperforms wire rope of the same size while remaining lightweight and buoyant. Its Dyneema fiber and Samthane coating enhance its durability and resistance to abrasions, cuts, and flex fatigue. This is the strongest single braid offered by Samson and has been verified by ABS and approved by ABS, BV, DNV, Lloyd's, and RMRS. It also has the option of using sustainable, bio-sourced fiber to minimize environmental impact without compromising quality or strength. Recommended for split-drum winch applications, it is not suitable for use on H-bitts, capstans, or cleats if surging or rendering is necessary.
