This mic is designed and engineered for police, fire and EMT, utilizing the toughest of construction practices. The SD-HDSM-NC-QD is outfitted with a Kevlar reinforced, polyurethane jacketed coiled cable and ultra-durable strain relief. SD mic cables are military-grade and engineered to provide extended life and retain original shape. The housing allows for heavy-duty use in rugged and/or wet environments. The SD-HDSM-NC-QD includes a large Push-To-Talk (PTT) button which is easy to locate even while wearing gloves or during high-stress situations. The spring loaded, metal reinforced clothing clip rotates 360 degrees, allowing the user to configure and secure the mic to their outer carrier or tactical, load-bearing vest and body armor. The SD-HDSM-NC-QD is built with a premium electret condenser mic element that transmits clear, 10-2 audio. The high-output speaker is loud and produces clear receive audio.
