Veteran-Owned Business: Support a disabled veteran-owned business with your purchase—thank you for your support! Disclaimer: Due to high demand and limited supply, pricing may vary with market conditions. We remain committed to providing a high-quality product and ensuring it reaches you as quickly as possible. ATTENTION: Please watch the video in the photo section before purchasing. It explains everything you need to know—what to expect with your order and how to properly care for your plants. We believe in full transparency and want you to feel fully supported. 🙂 Guppy grass is a fast-growing freshwater plant that can help utilize nutrients in the water column and provides cover for fish and fry. It also adds natural shelter and spawning areas for livebearers. Fish Love It: Guppy grass provides excellent shelter for fry and small fish while supporting beneficial biofilm and microorganisms that fish naturally eat/graze on; some species may also nibble the plant itself. Low Maintenance Plant: Guppy grass is incredibly easy to care for, requiring minimal attention. It's perfect for beginners and experienced aquarists alike. Oxygenates Water: As a live plant, guppy grass helps oxygenate the water, promoting a healthier environment for fish and other aquatic life. Light Requirements: Guppy Grass thrives under moderate to high light but can also survive in lower light conditions as well. Ensure it receives at least 8-12 hours of light per day for optimal growth. Snail Disclaimer & Benefits: We cannot guarantee duckweed is snail-free. Unlike tissue-cultured plants, it’s grown in nutrient-rich community water for optimal health. Your order may contain ramshorn, mystery, trumpet, or pond snails. To avoid snails, rinse or quarantine before adding to your tank. However, snails help control algae, eat leftover food, aerate the substrate, and introduce beneficial nitrates, supporting plant growth and a healthy aquarium ecosystem.

 Multiple Uses

Guppy is a popular aquarium plant for beginners due to it hardiness and fast growth. Different fish such as shrimp love hanging around its nooks to pick food and hide. Smaller fish such as Ember tetras, Neon tetra, Celestial Pearl Danio, and Rainbowfish use it as spawning mop that covers newly hatches fry while acting as source of microscopic food such as infusoria. The 2aquarium plant work well for both live bearer and egg layers, and may be critical for fish survival.

One Culture to Populate All tanks

Just a small portion of guppy grass will easily start one tank and be able to supply other tanks once it is thriving. Our Plants are grown in community tanks and more than likely will contain snails, scuds, or other live organisms that are very beneficial to your tank. Each package of guppy grass contains a few stem that can grow fast and be used to repopulate other tanks.

Care Instructions

While the grass is vibrant in aquatic environments, it is drained for shipping, which make it vulnerable. Guppy grass may not be able to sustain extreme temperatures below 50℉ or beyond 80℉. You may need a bit of liquid fertilizer to restore it back to life after shipping. The live plant is safer than fake and plastic plants that fish could ingest.
