1. Activating the solar light: The internal electronics are turned off from the factory for safety during shipment. Use the supplied plastic rod to press the power switch located inside the threaded connection to activate automatic light sensing operation.

2. Installation of the solar light: Remove decorative globe or ornament from your flag pole. Make sure the solar lamp is in automatic light sensing operation mode by pushing the ON/OFF switch. Thread the solar lamp into the display angle adjustment joint then screw into the aluminum connector. Thread the connector in place of the removed decorative globe. Adjust your solar light angle to get most sunlight and illuminate the hanging flag properly.

3. Keeping the solar light operational: Place the solar lamp displayed in direct sunlight with no obstruction by shade from trees, buildings, glass, and etc.
