To operate, simply insert 2 AA batteries per candle (not included) into the candlestick and tighten down the cavity with the screw cap. Once the cavity is secured, the automatic timer will start in the on position. From there, use the remote control provided with the unit to select the desired number of hours that candle should stay on for (4, 6, 8, 12 hours per 24 hours). Then select flicker or no flicker.
