Brenda Lou Webb is a Vietnam-era U.S. Army veteran and a survivor of severe trauma, both from her time in the service and later in an abusive marriage. She turned to poetry later in life as a way to process the deeply buried emotions she had carried for years. Through her writing, Lou hopes to inspire hope and resilience in others who have endured, or continue to endure, the pain of an abusive relationship. This is Lou's first book. In addition to writing, she enjoys crafting, improv comedy, and storytelling. A native of Maryland, she now resides in Greeneville, Tennessee, with her beloved pets, including her service dog, Luna.
