Though the general idea had been with Robert for years, it was while he worked on a particularly difficult project that it became clear. Earlier he had been daydreaming about Flying Saucers of all things. For some reason while struggling with a stubborn part, the thought flashed into his head. Then it was gone. But there was enough bouncing around and toying with him that he stopped what he was doing and began gathering those fleeting thoughts and making sense of them. Suddenly, to his surprise, he was sure it was possible to make an object float in the air and move in any direction with simple controls. The thoughts wouldn't leave him, so he decided to build a prototype in his spare time. He could never have dreamed of the directions this would take him.
