Description

When a grave threat emerges from Kano and Sokoto’s neverending war, the pathway to peace is set on an irreversible course. Five years after the Battle of Katsina, in seventeenth century Nigeria, Isa is ready to join the elite order of durbar warriors. Confronted by the chaos around him and past demons, he must make the ultimate sacrifice to save his kingdom from annihilation. Remington Blackstaff was born in Nigeria and moved to the United Kingdom with his family at a young age. He was bitten by the martial arts bug in childhood and studied several disciplines into adulthood. Despite his obsession with fight choreography, he set aside any dreams of becoming a stuntman to study medicine at Royal Free and University College Medical School. Remington currently practices medicine in London, where he lives with his wife and son. He remains obsessed with martial arts, rugby, and cinema.
