Korea Courage is a work of historical fiction set in the years 1951-52, that recounts a chapter from the life story of a young couple named Gene and Joan Cash. In the story the reader is invited to accompany the two main characters, newly married and expecting their first child, when their lives are upended by the Korean War. On both the homefront and battlefield they encounter a personal discovery of courage, forged by the strife of war, that forever shapes their future.
