A collection of works by writers with developmental disabilities at The Arc San Francisco. From the participant leader of the writing class, Connie Chu, Editor and 2024 SARTAC Fellow: In the winter of 2024, I was awarded a fellowship from the Self-Advocacy Resource and Technical Assistance Center (SARTAC). As a part of this fellowship, I taught a creative writing and self-publishing class to my peers with developmental disabilities at The Arc San Francisco. I invited guest speakers to present at each class. The speakers also shared a writing prompt with the class. I invite you to use these prompts to strengthen your own writing practice.
