Theology Through Movies: Exploring Biblical Truths Found in the Movies($16.99Value)

Description

What is it about movies that grab our attention and remain in our memories? Great movies are born from great storytelling and great storytelling sticks with the listener or viewer in a unique way. While great storytelling is found in the movies, it’s also found in the Bible. Today, many people view the Bible as a dusty old book that is no longer relevant. However, one might be surprised to learn that many gripping plots and storylines that unfold in classic and modern movies are also found in and parallel the content of the Bible. A lot of people who would watch a movie might not spend the same time reading the Bible, but by watching a movie may come across a Biblical truth or concept without realizing it. We can capture from the movies truth that agrees with and aligns with God’s Word. This book seeks to pull out Biblical truth from the movies to help the reader understand deeper spiritual insights that might not come directly from a strict theology lesson. Storytelling is where the Bible and movies meet, for the Bible is written in great storytelling detail that includes some of the most complex and dramatic literature ever written. Let’s see what Biblical truth we can gather from the movies. God Bless
